ENDOMETRIOSIS
In endometriosis, the lining of the womb that usually detaches and leaves the body during menstruation instead does not leave but attaches to other parts of the body. The most common adhesions are to other organs, like the ovaries, bowels, fallopian tubes, bladder and pelvic floor.
This misplaced tissue will respond to the menstrual cycle in the same way that the endometrial tissue does: each month the tissue builds up, breaks down, and sheds, causing a variety of symptoms.
This, unbelievably painful condition can be eased through the use of reflexology by activating certain pressure points.
MENOPAUSE
The menopause usually occurs around the ages of 45 and 55 years old. With this comes plenty of unpleasant symptoms including but not limited to:
Hot flushes
Vaginal dryness
Night sweats
Mood swings
Bloating
Sore breasts
Weight gain
Reflexology can help alleviate some of these symptoms using just the knowledge of how your body is interconnected.
